                Welcome to "Where Blogger's Create"

           This is my first year of participating and I was so excited when I heard about it.
My creative space is still a work in progress.  I just moved into my home a few weeks ago and with so much going on my creative space has had to take the back burner for awhile...
I'm looking forward to all the other blogs for some creative inspiration for this blank wall.
 The french provincial furniture I found on Craigslist.  It's just like the set my daughter had when she was a child, so it brings back a lot of memories.


My scissors are labeled: Craft, Craft, Tin and FABRIC ONLY.

   
This Ikea cubby has been a lifesaver for storage solutions and so handy. 


  
I love the copper pot my spools sit in.  I've had it for a long time. I use the decorative boxes for storage.  But I think the wall needs some color.  Whatcha think?







Some of the ribbon, laces and bling I got while on vacation in Paris last month.  Can't wait to use them on some projects and giveaways.







This poor little cupboard has been so many different colors and styles.  I used anaglypta wall paper to give it a carved wood effect.  I'll use this little guy until he completely falls apart.




Some little bobbles, bangles and beads I picked up on my sojourn last month. The cute tins came from Ross $6.99 minus the 10% discount for 55 and over.  Those kinda days I don't mind being  old "mature."

The rhinestone pins I picked up on vacation too.  Can't wait to use them in altered art projects.




I love these bright colored feathers! They are so soft when you touch them.  The color of the tin is my daughter's favorite shabby shade.  If it comes up missing, I'll know where to look...lol



Some old photo's and postcards and my labeled ball jars. You can't see it in this photo, but I funkied up the lids with the ochre color I used on one wall, so they'd look a little WEATHERED.

    I think you've done a great job so far after just moving in, Suzy! Love the furniture and your Ikea cubby. Those storage boxes are great. I should label my scissors. I use specific ones for specific things, too, and I keep them all together in the same container. I'm sure you'll get lots of ideas for that blank wall! Thanks so much for sharing your tour!

    Goodness for you moving just a few weeks ago you are amazing!! Looks like you have been settled in you pretty space for some time with everything so pretty and organized!! I would still be unpacking my pots and pans no less my creative space things!!

    I have a new space to share this year too- sure been fun seeing all the great spaces at Karen's party!

    YOu have only been in your new home for three weeks and you joined a party? That's impressive! But you had nothing to worry about as your space has so many fine touches. The jars with the labels and painted lids.... those slippers!...

    Your creative space is already up and running after just having moved in!
    You have some great storage and I love your little white cupboard and that copper pot for storing your ribbons.
    You have a lovely collection of rhinestone pins, buckets for lace and feathers and some neat ephemera.
    Lovely journal sitting there! One of my most favourite creations also!
    I know you will be spending many fulfilling hours of creating in your lovely space.

    This is only a couple of weeks after you moved in??? WOW! I'm very impressed ~ a couple of weeks after I moved a year ago, my space was still mostly boxes!

    Sorry to be so late in visiting, I was determined to visit every blog on the hop and it took more time than I thought! I LOVE your space and can hardly believe you were only 3 weeks into the house when you took these photos! The way you display your emphemera and "pretties" is so lovely. Your workis simply beautiful and breathtaking! I am now following your blog because I simply must see what you do next.
